My friends say I’m a fool to think
That you’re the one for me
I guess I’m just a sucker for love
Cause honestly the truth is that
You know I’m never leaving
Cause you’re my angel sent from above

The awaited has arrived!!! Get your snacks and beverages coz this is going to be entertaining AF. I am not gonna lengthen the introduction because I am so excited for you guys to read it. (A million heart eye emojis). Let’s cut the crap and start. Disclaimer : This is a real life story and the source will be unnamed for privacy purposes. There will be no images unfortunately (shit got just too professional for my liking (laughing emojis) I sounded more like an insurance policy agent than a friend). This will be a series so stay tuned for all parts. It will be a roller coaster (seat belt alert). Let the Fairytale begin.
Once Upon a Time in June 2017 there was a guy who came from across the country to study in one of the most renowned university. Imagine a guy looking like a hero in a printed shirt, trousers and combat boots (that’s his signature style) entering the college *entry music*. He is there for the submission of his documents. There is a lawn near the entry of the college with benches along its sides. It is a hangout spot for students (who bunk classes #me). In the lawn is a girl in an Indo western outfit, long hair going down to her butt (damn a short hair b*tch is jealous). For my convenience I am naming the guy J and the girl Z. These letters are a name in themselves don’t you think?
J enters the college and as he is gazing around, his eyes stop. He saw his “Crush at first sight”. Guess who caught his eye-of course it’s Z. Now J is not very familiar with this Indo Western clothing so he finds it peculiar yet very beautiful. Z’s facial features, her round specs, her shoes and the Rapunzel hair made her seem like a princess in disguise and our guy J obviously fell for her. Z is holding a couple of files and papers in her hand and an older guy is standing beside her. He looks like his father but later you will know he isn’t (Smirk emoji). Now J proceeds his work and goes into the department room to submit his documents.
I didn’t know guys could be this noob but J made me believe it. He enters the room “without a pen” on the submission day. How can someone be so careless!! He asks the faculty for a pen. Of course in return gets a judgemental look. (what else do you expect?) J gets all the procedures done. (First encounter alert) As he is leaving the room, Z enters it simultaneously. Their eyes meet but they come back to real life within seconds (slow motion blissful moment even I can feel it).
J is asked to get a Guardians signature. He is from another state and he doesn’t have any relative around here (I’m his friend so i know him well). The only person who came along with him was his friend who was wearing a three fourth sleeves shirt, pants and flip-flops. You tell me honestly would you consider this guy a child’s guardian? I wouldn’t. But J takes him to the principal’s office and introduces him as his elder brother. Now the principal is in equal shock as you and I are. She confirms from the ‘guardian’ as the looks are not assuring enough “What do you do for a living?”
Now the catch is, both J and his friend were new to the city. So he couldn’t answer the question. Princy smirks and says “Child you will get the admission for now but as soon as the college opens get an elder along with you so that we can get their signatures.” J nodes and they leave. J didn’t want to disappoint or worry his parents. He was in a dilemma thinking what to do. He was stuck, alone. (Second encounter alert). As he was walking around thinking, Z catches his attention AGAIN. But this time he wanted to help. He approached the older guy who was with Z and asked for his help.
J asked for his sign and assured him that there wouldn’t be any trouble. The guy was reluctant at first but J emotionally blackmailed him to sign his documents (laughing emojis). J said “Sir I’m from another state and I have no one around here. I took my friend as my guardian but the principal caught us and we were sent back. Can you sign my documents? I promise you won’t have to appear anywhere. I will handle everything.” The guy falls for our innocent J and signs the papers.
But little did you know this was J’s way of starting a conversation with Z. Nice plan right (smirk emoji). So J gets a clear receipt and is told to submit the fees online. A sigh of relief. J (who isn’t as innocent as you think he is) conspires on how he will initiate a conversation with Z. It’s a healthy conspiracy don’t worry (wink emoji) .
To be continued…
What is he gonna do? Do you think it’s a strategy? Do you think she will fall for it? Will J be able to gather enough confidence to talk to Z? Tell me what you think in the comments. Episode 2 arriving (kiss emojis).
Until next time, Adiós amigos.
