It’s a matter of perspective.
I saw a reel that was talking about life and perspective in a way that I hadn’t thought of before. It was not only refreshing but also eye-opening. We think about certain things in life that can be interpreted in ways that shift our mindset. According to me, if this becomes our way of thinking permanently, we are set for success.
When you say, ‘I have no plans’, it means that you generally have no sense of the bigger picture in life. But that also means that you are spontaneous enough to take over every opportunity that comes your way. This perspective might sound careless but at its core, it means that you are inviting by nature. It might mean that you have a lot of time to spare because you have nothing important to do. But in contrast to that, it can also mean that you can find time for new and uninvited situations in life.
When you think ‘no one cares’, it means that you are worried that no one is there to care for you. But that also means that you don’t care about anyone’s opinions. Your actions are not dictated by someone else’s reactions. You are free and proudly doing what you want.
When you say, ‘I feel so deeply‘, you are upset that everything said to you affects you in ways no one can imagine. But it also means that you feel and enjoy happiness and other good emotions in ways no one ever can. The sense of deep satisfaction you receive isn’t easily achievable for someone who is just interested in scraping the surface.
I relate the most to the third line because a lot of times in life, I pity myself. I wonder why I am the chosen one for all pain. I wonder why I am the one who thinks so much about everything. But there are definitely times when I shift from this pitiful mindset to a more joyful one. I feel grateful for the days I am able to feel immense happiness, just like immense pain. Although I cry in both of these situations, the tears that I drop in the latter case are beautiful. This shift in perspective is necessary for you too.
Until next time, Adios amigo!
