MindOomph Shorts No. 77: Some things aren’t secrets!

I have never felt the need to keep things unsaid.

You know, I’ve always been a believer in speaking my mind. Holding things in just doesn’t sit right with me. I mean, we feel things for a reason, right? And it’s important to let those feelings out, whether it’s to the person directly involved or just to get it off your chest in some other way.

It’s not just about love, though. It’s about all those other messy emotions too – anger, resentment, jealousy, you name it. If we bottle them up inside, they’ll just keep festering until they explode in ways we never could’ve predicted. And trust me, that’s not a road you want to go down.

So yeah, maybe it’s not always easy to have those tough conversations or to admit when we’re feeling vulnerable. But in the long run, it’s so much better than letting those emotions eat away at us from the inside out. I’ve learned the hard way that keeping things unsaid only leads to more pain and regret down the line. It’s like this toxic cycle that just keeps repeating itself until you finally break free from it.

And you know what? Speaking up doesn’t have to be some big dramatic gesture. It can be as simple as writing in a journal, talking to a friend, or even just screaming into a pillow. The important thing is that you find a way to release those emotions in a healthy and constructive manner.

Because here’s the thing – holding onto all that negativity isn’t doing anyone any favors, least of all yourself. So do yourself a favor and let it out. Trust me, you’ll feel so much lighter once you do. Journal every once in a while, because your heart deserves to feel lighter!

Until next time, Adios amigo!
