Does the book “Bhavishya Malika” predict the future?
I posted a reel on Instagram (@mindoomph) about how and when Kalyug would end, and it got a lot of traction. But one comment that I saw repeatedly was, “Those who know about Bhavishya Malika 💀!” Naturally, this made me curious, and I decided to do research on this. This is all I learned:
1) During the sixteenth century, five luminary saints, collectively known as the Panchasakha, including Saint Achyutananda Das, left an indelible mark on Vaishnavism in Odisha. Their spiritual teachings revolutionized literature and philosophy, resonating with ordinary individuals and enriching the tapestry of spiritualism.
2) The Bhavishya Malika, a book written by Saint Achyutananda Das, unfolds a panorama of predictions that delve into the twilight of Kaliyuga, the last age in Hindu cosmology. Saint Achyutananda Das extensively detailed signs indicating the culmination of Kaliyuga, foreseeing societal changes and moral decline.
3) The Bhavishya Malika forewarns of great destruction, correlating it with disheartened farmers, erratic rainfall patterns, intensified global heat, cyclonic winds, attacks by wild animals, disruptions at the revered Jagannath temple, and catastrophic events like tsunamis.
4) The ancient text points towards a series of natural disasters between 2022 and 2027, including earthquakes, deadly floods, severe droughts, and shifts in the climate cycle, reflecting a prescient view of environmental challenges.
5) Simultaneously, the prophecy speaks of the onset of the third world war, predicting a six-year-and-six-month conflict dividing the world into two factions. India enters the war thirteen months after its commencement, facing a formidable adversary.
6) Unique occurrences, such as the appearance of two suns in the sky and an attack on India orchestrated by China and thirteen Islamic countries, are foreseen. Lord Jagannath‘s journey and the subsequent attack on India lead to a dramatic unfolding of events.
7) As the conflict intensifies, the prophecy envisions the manifestation of Lord Kalki, the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, intervening on India’s behalf. His divine intervention results in a decisive victory for India, leading to a ceasefire and the initiation of a new era.
8) Looking ahead to the year 2030, the Bhavishya Malika predicts a harmonious convergence of major and minor religions into the eternal truth of Satya Sanatan Dharma. This divine assimilation is prophesied to pave the way for a brighter, more harmonious future, transcending divisive boundaries.
