What do you do in a situation where you have no chance to take control?
Suppose you have been wanting something; you did what you could and then you had to wait for the results. Now you have been waiting for 2.5 months and recently you got a notice that the thing you wanted has been discontinued. It has now been replaced by something else.
The chances of you getting that thing are still the same, because what could you do to have it? You have already done it. Now, do I place my faith in the place where I will get that thing? Or should I completely take my attention away from it? Asking for a friend!
My first reaction was happiness, because, however minute the chances, I still have the chance to obtain that thing. This means God took all this time to switch the mediocre thing with the best thing ever. My intellectual self doesn’t doubt anything one bit because my belief that “whatever happens, happens for a reason” is really strong.
But my practical self had already lost hope after a month of waiting. So nothing has changed according to it. The chances are still slim and there is nothing I can do. Now you might be wondering if the new thing is better than the thing I wanted. The answer is 100% yes. It is something I could only wish for.
And since I’m working on my self-worth issues, I don’t want to put anything bad into the universe. So let me put it this way: “I might not be very qualified to deserve this thing, but if this does come my way, I will give it my all.” Sometimes God is eager to send miracles your way; we just have to clear the path. We should be in an energy of attraction and not chasing. And that’s what I’m going to do.
Until next time, Adios amigo!
This reminded me of the time when I was drowning in self-doubt and had a vulnerable conversation with myself. You can read it HERE!
