MindOomph Shorts No. 124: Mornings weren’t easy for me!

Don’t wake up in the morning and not know what to do.

You know, I used to wake up in the morning feeling lost, not knowing where to start or what to do with my day. It’s like everything was a blur, and I couldn’t shake off that feeling of aimlessness. But then I discovered the power of routine, and it changed everything. Now, every night before I go to bed, I take a few minutes to make a to-do list for the next day. It’s such a simple task, but it works wonders.

Just knowing what I need to do the next day automatically makes my mornings more productive. Instead of stumbling around in a fog of uncertainty, I wake up with a sense of purpose. I know exactly what needs to be done, and I can jump right into my day with clarity and focus. It’s like the blurriness melts away, replaced by a sense of direction and control. And let me tell you, it feels amazing. I no longer waste precious time trying to figure out what to do first or feeling overwhelmed by all the tasks ahead of me.

Instead, I tackle each item on my to-do list one by one, crossing them off as I go. And with each task completed, I feel a sense of accomplishment that propels me forward. But the benefits of having a morning routine don’t stop there. It’s not just about productivity – it’s also about mental clarity and peace of mind.

When I have a routine in place, I feel more organized and in control of my life. I’m less likely to forget important tasks or feel stressed out by looming deadlines. Instead, I can approach each day with a calm and focused mindset, ready to take on whatever challenges come my way.

And you know what? It’s not just about the big stuff. Even the little tasks on my to-do list—like making my bed or going for a walk—can make a big difference in how I feel. There’s something incredibly satisfying about checking off those small tasks and knowing that I’m making progress, no matter how small. It’s like each checkmark is a little victory, reminding me that I’m capable and in control of my life. And achieving something right after I wake up in the morning feels even more pleasant.

Until next time, Adios amigo!

A peculiar thing about me is that as unproductive I felt in the mornings, that is the time I study the best. But just like everyone else, I did mess up while studying too. You can read about my feelings HERE!
