I didn’t know I could learn this from TV serials.
Indian TV serials might seem like just mindless entertainment, but there’s actually a lot we can learn from them. The serials don’t come out with entire seasons that are ready to watch. Instead, they release one episode a day. It’s like delayed gratification, you know? Instead of binge-watching an entire season in one sitting and then feeling empty inside, you have to spread it out. It teaches a bit of patience and self-control, believe it or not.
And let’s talk about dedication—these TV serials don’t just end, do they? Nope, they keep going and going like the Energizer Bunny. Shows like “Anupama” and “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” are perfect examples. They have this amazing ability to keep us hooked, episode after episode, season after season. It’s like a lesson in perseverance. No matter how many times Anupama faces challenges or the families in “Yeh Rishta” deal with their dramas, they keep moving forward.
Sure, some of these shows might seem a bit regressive at times, with their over-the-top drama and never-ending misunderstandings. But hey, that’s the reality of Indian TV serials sometimes. And if you watch enough episodes, you start to see that there are actually some pretty important lessons hidden in there.
I mean, just look at “Anupama.” It’s not just about a woman’s journey after a failed marriage; it’s about resilience, self-discovery, and the power of a mother’s love. Anupama’s character teaches us about finding strength in adversity and standing up for ourselves, no matter what.
And then there’s “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.” It’s been on the air for so long, and yet it still manages to keep people entertained with its mix of family drama, romance, and social issues. Whether it’s highlighting the importance of family bonds, breaking stereotypes, or advocating for women’s rights, these TV serials know how to strike a chord with their audience.
Sure, there are moments when the plot gets a bit too dramatic or the conflicts seem never-ending. But that’s all part of the charm, isn’t it? It’s like a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and we’re just along for the journey.
So yeah, although I don’t watch these often and maybe I sound like a total couch potato, I’m actually learning a lot from these nightly TV sessions. It’s like a crash course in life, but with dramatic dialogues and elaborate costumes. And the best part? I get to do it all from the comfort of my own home, in my pajamas, with a cup of chai by my side. Cheers to that!
Until next time, Adios amigo!
Just like TV serials, I witnessed and wrote about a Love Series from my college time. Let me give you a hint, it is a love triangle. You can read this 5-part series HERE!
