Look, I didn’t power through the struggle
Just to let a little trouble, knock me out of my position
And interrupt the vision
After everything I witnessed, after all of these decisions

I am guilty for posting this blog a little late!! Look at me apologizing, WTF am I a professional blogger already?? You guys love my writing this much?? AHHH...internal crying (whatever emojis you can imagine). I am a mess right now. Dude where’s the paparazzi at? Magazine editor calling…what!!
Just kidding you all. I am on the 9th cloud thinking about all the possibilities of my blog becoming a hit. Thank you guys so much! I have a friend circle of so many people who have given me a total of 1000 likes now (The popular friend group of 10 people…watch out (Eyes emojis)).
On this occasion I thought why not celebrate the moment when I first started writing. A lot of you will be familiar – a story writing in my English exam (high five if you started the same way, laughing emojis). I was so serious about writing a good story in my 8th standard final exam that I took a good one hour to do it. Yes, out of 3 hours I dedicated an entire hour to my story. As soon as I received the question paper, thoughts just started swirling in my mind. I took a pencil and wrote the raw idea on the place above the top margin of the answer sheet. Imagine how desperate I was for a good piece (laughing emojis). FYI I scored an 8.5 out of 10 on that. I was proud of myself. But I never wrote other than those writing skill activities.
In the 9th Grade I was not in a very good place in my mind. I had lost two of my best friends and the struggle was real. So one day while cleaning my room I found a small zipped diary that me and my sister had got for each other (Yes we were crazy, we got the same thing and exchanged it with each other to fool ourselves into thinking they were gifts. Let me know if you ever did that #relatableforlife).
I was very upset that particular day. So I took that diary opened a random page and started scribbling. I finished writing and unusually, I felt better. That day I decided to write whenever I was mad, angry or frustrated. I had a motto “never write good things. Never.” I don’t know why I did that. So good luck thinking (laughing emojis). I never knew diary entry would be so much fun (diary entry: the professional exam name for daily diary)
Days, months, years passed and the number of pages I wrote increased. I started with a 4 X 4 inch diary and till I reached college I wrote 4 to 6 full size pages out of anger. Imagine the level of frustration I had. I have written in grief, in tears, in anger and in disappointment. But in 2018 I made a notebook in which I started writing the good things that I learnt. I took lines from my mum, my dad or any motivational speaker alive and wrote it down.
That was when I realized I could happy-write too. I wrote about my experience with a couple of people including their good and bad side. I wrote about my fantasies, my first times and everything I could (peach emoji, smirk emoji).
And today here I am on my 27th blog. And if you ask me when I started blogging – girl let me tell you. It took me more than one and a half year to figure out what blogging was, how it could help me and all that. You remember the first default blog that WordPress has, yes “The Journey begins” one. I wrote one line in that on 3rd January 2020 and uninstalled WordPress the next day.
I guess scrolling through social media did me good this time. On Pinterest I saw a post. And drumroll please….
I started. I just took a random paper and started writing. It was a roller coaster for me and I want to know how did you start yours. Tell me in the comments. I’m waiting.
Until next time, Adiós amigos.
