MindOomph Shorts No. 96: The gloomy days are strange!

These gloomy days are a bit strange!

You see them coming from a mile away, those gloomy days. Maybe it’s the weather, maybe it’s something deeper, something lurking beneath the surface. Either way, you know they’re coming, and there’s this sense of inevitability that hangs in the air. You try to prepare yourself, to put on a brave face and soldier through, but it’s like trying to hold back the tide with a sandcastle. The darkness seeps in, wrapping around you like a heavy blanket, and suddenly everything feels a little bit harder—a little bit heavier.

You find yourself retreating into yourself, seeking solace in the comfort of your own thoughts. But even there, the shadows lurk, whispering their doubts and fears into the corners of your mind. And the worst part is, there’s nothing you can do about it. You can’t outrun it; you can’t wish it away with a wave of your hand. All you can do is weather the storm, hunker down and wait for the clouds to pass.

But even in the midst of the darkness, there’s a glimmer of hope. Because just as surely as the gloomy days come, they also go. The sun breaks through the clouds, casting its warm glow over everything, and suddenly the world doesn’t seem quite so bleak anymore. So yeah, maybe there’s nothing you can do to stop the gloomy days from creeping in. But you can take comfort in knowing that they won’t last forever and that brighter days are waiting just beyond the horizon. And in the meantime, you hold on, you keep going, and you wait for the storm to pass.

Until next time, Adios amigo!

I might have a lot of gloomy days but there is one thing that cheers me up the most. It is my Pinterest feed; you can read about it HERE!
