It is extremely difficult to maintain habits in this world.
Especially for someone like me, a regular middle-class person surrounded by a big family in this hyper-stimulated world. Trying to stick to things becomes a constant struggle when every step is met with comments like, “Why bother? It’s not a big deal. You’ve got only one life.”
No matter how disciplined I try to be, there are always people around me who don’t really respect my habits. And the tricky part is, these are folks I can’t just cut off for various reasons. It’s like I’m caught in this loop where my efforts are constantly undermined. It’s not just about building discipline; it’s about sustaining it despite the constant background noise of dismissive comments. The challenge is dealing with the very people I share my life with, who unintentionally become roadblocks to things I’m working hard to cultivate.
But maybe, in the middle of all this chaos, there’s a lesson in resilience. It’s about pushing forward despite the doubters. It’s a sort of quiet rebellion against societal norms that often downplay personal commitments. So, here’s to the struggle, to fighting battles in the corners of my life. It’s a testament to my determination, a way of saying that these habits matter to me, even if I have to navigate through a maze of skepticism. In this dance of habits and societal expectations, finding my own rhythm is like a personal victory against all the external noise. 💪🎶
P.S. I had to talk about habits after missing two days of this streak. It’s my fault, and I take responsibility😂.
Until next time, Adios amigo!
