This has never happened before!
I recently posted a video of me and my brother playing badminton on his school court. It had an overlay of trending dialogue, and it has close to a million views now. He came to my room last night and showed me a chat with his best friend. Now he is a typical younger brother- keeps secrets, doesn’t want to associate with me in any shape or form, doesn’t want me to interrupt when he is talking to his friends, etc. His best friend texts him this very intricate and well-thought-out message:
“How do I not know this?
My level of thinking:
1) This looks like my school
2) This might be a junior who is an influencer
3) Why does this look like my best friend (my younger brother)?
4) Omg, this is his sister’s video. Holy s*** 💀 22k followers”
😂😂Out of all the achievements I have had so far, this is the one that just stood out to me. I don’t know what part of me wanted this type of validation, but when I got this approval and admiration yesterday, I was, to say the least, hyped. I think when I saw my brother’s eyes twinkle with the joy and surprise that his sister is now being appreciated even by his own friends, maybe for him it became less cringe and more… Worthy.
Haha, honestly, I can’t wait for more of this. Today in this post, let me manifest all of my writing (blogs and these little write-ups) and all the content creation I’ve been doing to be recognized.
